Racik Chicken Soup/Soto Ayam Instant Seasoning is your perfect companion for creating a delicious, aromatic, and authentic Soto Ayam (Indonesian chicken soup) effortlessly. COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Add 1/2 kg of chicken (5-6 pieces) into 4 cups (1 liter) of boiling water. Cook until the chicken is half-cooked.
  2. Remove 3 cups (750 ml) of chicken broth and set aside.
  3. Simmer the chicken with ground spices: 3 cloves of garlic, 1 knuckle of turmeric, and 1/2 tsp of salt. Cook until the chicken is tender, the spices are absorbed, and the liquid reduces.
  4. Deep fry the chicken until golden brown, then shred the chicken into smaller pieces.
  5. Prepare condiments: boiled vermicelli, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage, boiled eggs, chopped scallions, celery, fried shallots, and lime slices.
  6. Stir-fry 1 sachet of Racik Instant Seasoning for Chicken Soup until fragrant.
  7. Add the seasoning into the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  8. Place the shredded chicken and condiments into a serving bowl.
  9. Pour the hot chicken broth over the contents of the bowl. Top with fried shallots and a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
